I am a New York-based landscape designer and ISA Certified Arborist, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to garden design that balances art, ecology, and craftsmanship.

I earned my BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and hold a Landscape Design Certification from NYBG. Before discovering my passion for landscapes, I created sculptural millinery pieces using natural materials. My work was photographed by some of the industry’s leading creatives and featured in publications such as Vanity Fair, W Magazine, and Vogue.

After completing coursework at NYBG, I refined my skills through hands-on work in historic and private gardens, deepening my knowledge of horticulture and design. I later worked with sought-after New York landscape design firms before establishing my own practice in Westchester in 2021.

My approach to landscape design is deeply site-responsive, allowing a property’s unique character to inform the vision. New York’s natural stone outcroppings are a particular inspiration, and I enjoy integrating stone into my projects. With a fine arts background and an instinct for materials, I create spaces that feel both intentional and immersive—whether through planting, landscape lighting, or the thoughtful incorporation of natural elements.

I collaborate closely with clients, architects, and artisans to craft transportive, stimulating gardens that foster belonging, intimacy, and a connection to nature, regardless of scale. My work is rooted in respect for the land, sustainable practices, and a belief that gardens should evolve as living, breathing spaces over time.

Philosophy & Values

A Boutique, Hands-On Approach

As a woman-owned boutique firm, I prioritize close client relationships, ensuring each project receives dedicated attention.

This scale allows me to remain deeply involved at every stage, from concept to completion and beyond.

An Integrative, Ecological Perspective

My expertise spans landscape design, horticulture, arboriculture, and lighting, allowing me to shape spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Every element is carefully considered:

  • How plantings evolve over time, contributing to the long-term rhythm and character of the site

  • How soil, water, and microclimates influence plant health and resilience

  • How landscapes can support biodiversity and ecological balance

While I prioritize native species where appropriate, I take a right plant, right place approach — ensuring choices suit the site while creating a thriving, layered composition.

Continuous Learning & Thoughtful Adaptation

Landscapes are never static—and neither is my approach. I stay attuned to shifting climate patterns, ecological changes, and emerging insights in horticulture and arboriculture, adapting my work to reflect the realities of an evolving environment.

By observing plant communities in their natural settings, I gain insight into how living systems thrive over time — and apply those lessons to every project I design.

Collaboration, Trust & Craftsmanship

Strong, respectful partnerships — with clients, craftsmen, and collaborators — lead to landscapes that feel both effortless and deeply considered.

Trust is central to my process, and I bring equal care to vision, execution, and the details in between.

A Foundation in Art & Design

Before founding my practice, I honed my craft with several NYC-based landscape design studios. My background in fine arts, couture millinery, and a BFA from MICA continues to shape how I design: with attention to form, texture, and the sculptural potential of space.

This foundation guides everything from the placement of trees to the way lighting creates depth and rhythm in the garden.

Designing for Connection & Longevity

Whether I’m designing a garden, consulting on a site, or crafting a lighting plan, my aim is always the same: to create outdoor spaces that feel lived in, loved, and truly at home in their surroundings.

I design landscapes that invite daily use, seasonal curiosity, and a deeper relationship with the natural world — places that evolve gracefully and reflect the lives of those who live alongside them.
