A Garden for Gathering & Flow

Initially approached to enhance the garden in time for an upcoming gathering, our conversations quickly revealed opportunities to refine the broader landscape—reorganizing existing plantings, strengthening flow, and layering in scented perennials and shrubs for a richer experience. Rather than simply filling gaps, the goal became about creating deeper connections within the space, ensuring that every element felt intentional and cohesive.

What began as a focused enhancement has grown into an ongoing collaboration—one that continues to evolve in response to the land, the client’s needs, and the way they live in the space. With each phase, we refine the balance between expanse and intimacy, movement and stillness—ensuring the landscape remains as fluid as it is intentional.

Refining & Layering the Existing Landscape

By rethinking plant placements and introducing a more structured yet naturalistic palette, we shaped a garden that feels softly defined yet open, immersive yet effortless. The new layers bring a quiet rhythm to the site—offering seasonal beauty, movement, and depth while maintaining key sight-lines and the client’s desire for openness.
